The fishery was built in 2014 by a carp angler. It is 1-3/4 acres in size, depths range from 4 ft to 8ft with the aim to have a well-managed fishery with a well looked after stock of big carp.

Our stock was hand-picked and purchased from VS Fisheries and we have since grown them on, with many of the fish from C3’s.

There are a total of 6 pegs, each with their own water to fish with many features to fish to, with pads and reed lined margins. There is a max of 3 anglers on overnight sessions.

Pook fisheries is otter fenced to protect the stock from predation.

The fish are fed by us low oil pellet in the winter and high oil during the summer. These are the only pellet that we allow to be used, and they can be purchased on site. The 2 main reasons for this were to condition them and to grow them. They haven’t grown to the sizes they are on their own.
